Coffee
For the first quiet stretch of the day, before everything starts moving.
OUR STORY
Cedrune started from a simple habit I’ve carried since I was a teenager: black coffee in the morning, tea at night, and a quiet belief that the small things we return to every day matter.
WHERE IT BEGAN
I was born and raised in Western Washington, near the Seattle area, and when I think about what shaped Cedrune, I do not start with business plans or branding. I start with a cup of black coffee.
Coffee has been part of my life since I was a teenager. Most mornings, it was simple. I would get up, make a cup of black coffee, sometimes pour another, and let that first quiet stretch of the day do what it always did for me: help me settle in, wake up, and begin.
It was never about making the moment look perfect. It was about how it felt. Familiar. Steady. Mine.
“A drink can be small, simple, and still matter more than people give it credit for.” — Cedrune founder
DAILY RHYTHM
Over time, tea became part of that same rhythm. Some days I wanted the grounded start of coffee. Other days I wanted the kind of focus matcha gives me. At night, herbal tea became its own kind of reset.
Different cups for different parts of the day, but the same idea behind all of them: a drink can be small, simple, and still matter more than people give it credit for.
That is where Cedrune comes from.
For the first quiet stretch of the day, before everything starts moving.
For clean focus, work sessions, and a different kind of steady energy.
For slowing down, exhaling, and letting the night feel quieter.
WASHINGTON ROOTS
I grew up on the western side of Washington, near the Seattle area, where life can feel crowded, fast, and hard to keep up with. The streets are busy, the pace is constant, and it can sometimes feel like everything is moving before you have a chance to catch your breath.
But even there, nature was always in the background. Trees along the roads. Green moss on nearly everything. Creeks, rivers, rain, trails, and the quiet feeling that beneath all the noise, there was still something steady and alive.
Now I live in the Tri-Cities, and that contrast has become even clearer to me. This part of Washington feels different. Drier, brighter, more open, and more exposed to light. There is the desert around the basin, the wide sky, and the slower beauty of open space.
Living between those two versions of Washington shaped the feeling behind Cedrune: forest and desert, movement and stillness, crowded streets and quiet trails, morning energy and evening calm.
That contrast feels honest to me. A long ride outside, fresh air, open space, and then the cup waiting for you after. Cedrune was built to hold that feeling.
WHY CEDRUNE EXISTS
I did not want to create a brand that treated coffee like a performance, or tea like a trend, or matcha like a lifestyle accessory. I wanted to build something that people could actually live with.
Something they could trust. Something they could bring into their morning before work, their afternoon when they need to focus, or their evening when they want to slow everything down.
That is why the brand is centered on daily rhythm. Not just products, but moments. Not just what you drink, but when you reach for it and why.
THE COLLECTION
The names in this collection came from that same way of seeing things. Cedarwake. Emberfall. Mossveil. High Desert Matcha. Trailform Mushroom Coffee. Stonepath Mushroom Matcha.
I wanted them to feel connected to place, movement, and mood without losing the sense that these are real, everyday drinks meant to become part of real, everyday life.
For steady mornings and the grounded start of the day.
For warmth, comfort, and slower moments.
For tea, calm, and the softer side of the daily rhythm.
For clean focus inspired by open light and movement.
THE STANDARD
There is something important to me about keeping this brand honest. I like beautiful design. I care about good branding. I want Cedrune to feel memorable and worth coming back to. But underneath all of that, I want it to feel true.
If I cannot imagine drinking it myself on an ordinary morning, after a ride, during work, or at the end of the day, it does not belong here.
That is the standard.
WELCOME TO CEDRUNE
Cedrune is still growing, but the reason behind it is simple and steady. I started this because these daily moments have mattered to me for years.
A cup of black coffee before the day begins. Matcha when I want clean focus. Tea when I want the night to feel quieter. Fresh air, movement, and the feeling of returning to yourself.
If Cedrune becomes part of your day, that means a lot to me. That means the brand is doing what I hoped it would do from the beginning: not just sell coffee or tea, but give someone something dependable to return to.
Something steady. Something grounded. Something that fits the rhythm of real life.
